Young Science Communicator Competition

In collaboration with the Food and Farming Discovery Trust (FFDT), Youth STEMM Award (YSA) and Linking Environment And Farming (LEAF) Education, we are launching an exciting competition for the Norwich Science Festival at home event.

The Young Science Communicator Competition, which is aimed at 13 -19-year old's, invites budding science communicators to create their own Conscious Consumers inspired educational videos with the chance to win prizes!

Entrants are encouraged to work through the FREE Conscious Consumers resource pack, carry out independent research into the topics covered and create a 3-minute video to engage and inspire others.

Entries can be submitted by groups or individuals and will be judged by a panel of science communication experts, including special guest judges Marty Jopson, resident scientist of the One Show (BBC) and Oliver Roberts, from Olly's Farm.

Video entries will be judged on their impact, presentation and ingenuity, so entrants are encouraged to be original and creative!

The competition launches this Saturday (24th October 2020) and entry deadline is December 18th 2020.
