SAW in the classroom
SAW projects have proved immensely popular with children and teachers alike. They have spanned varying age ranges and abilities, and have given us valuable insights into helping spark engagement in the classroom. We have worked closely with the staff in each school to tailor each project to specific learning outcomes.
Help running your own SAW project
Please visit the Teachers page for downloads to help you plan and run your own SAW project. These include ‘How to get started’, worked examples of SAW projects from beginning to end, and a presentation full of hints and tips written by teachers.
Example SAW projects
Each SAW project is as individual as the school taking part. To see details, photos, poetry and artwork from some previous SAW events in schools, please select a year from the left-hand side of the screen.
